NFM has offered NRTC's SecureIT antivirus solution for several years and was recently informed that SecureIT would no longer work or be supported after March 31, 2026. To ensure our customers continue to have reliable, strong protection in place we are offering the Bitdefender Antivirus Plus solution going forward and making it available now for customers who still had time remaining on their SecureIT purchase.

When we were informed by NRTC that SecureIT would be going away at the end of March we worked with them to identify a high-quality replacement solution that provided the same level of quality and functionality. SecureIT used Bitdefender antivirus definitions to provide you protection already so with their award-winning solutions and depth of features and compatibility, Bitdefender was the logical choice.
SecureIT will no longer work or be supported after March 31, 2026. You can remove the app from your devices at that time, or just before you install new security software (i.e. Bitdefender).
nrtc product support is available at 1‑877‑402‑3343 Mon-Fri 7am - 6pm CST and via email at product_support@nrtc.coop. If you call in or email after hours will still be supported, just leave a message with your contact info and the reason for your call/email and you will get a call/email back when the office opens. Bitdefender activation links are only good for 10 days from when issued, if you miss activating within that timeframe you will need to request a new activation link.
The app icon will start to shake and an 'X' will appear.
Press the 'X' and SecureIT will unistall.
Android devices:
If you have enabled Device Administrator within the anti-theft settings, you must first disable this from within SecureIT to uninstall. Note: this process may vary depending on your version of Android.
It may take a few hours after you receive our notification email about the conversion from SecureIT before you receive the Bitdefender activation email. If after a few hours you still do not see the Bitdefender email be sure to check your spam or junk folders to make sure it isn't in there. If you have waited a few hours and checked your spam/junk folders you can request another email be sent by contacting NRTC product support at 1‑877‑402‑3343 Mon-Fri 7am - 6pm CST or via email at product_support@nrtc.coop. It may take up to two business days before the new Bitdefender email arrives in your inbox upon reissuance.
