What fashion design is teaching us about color at home

May 27, 2026 - Episode 266

Fashion is giving interiors a bold new playbook, and on this week's episode of I AM HOME, our hosts Tyler, Hilary and Becca dive headfirst into the color combinations redefining the way our homes feel right now. From the grounding sophistication of blue and brown to the nostalgic drama of plum and chartreuse, and the warmth of tomato red paired with buttery creams, the crew explores how runway trends, pop culture moments, and emotional design cues are shaping the future of home style. Along the way, they unpack why fashion so often predicts what shows up in our living rooms next, how these palettes connect to comfort and optimism, and simple ways to bring the trends home without a full redesign.
