The GE Profile 30" Downdraft Electric Cooktop (Model #: PP9830DRBB) is a sleek and modern cooktop is designed to provide a high-quality cooking experience. It features four radiant cooking elements that cook foods quickly and evenly on a smooth, glass surface. The cooktop includes a 9"/6" Power Boil element that accommodates different pan sizes and produces rapid, powerful heat.
One of the standout features of this cooktop is the Bridge Element that combines cooking elements into one large cooking area, making it ideal for oversized cooking pans. The cooktop also has a downdraft exhaust system that effectively pulls smoke and steam out of the kitchen.
For safety, the cooktop includes a control lock capability to protect against unintended activation and hot surface indicator lights to let you know when elements are too hot to touch. The cooktop controls are conveniently placed knobs on a black glass surface, giving the cooktop a modern look.
