Each kit now includes a 2oz bottle of our Old Fashioned Signature cocktail syrup, crafted with the perfect balance of premium, all-natural ingredients - no preservatives, no artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners. Like nothing you've ever tasted, enjoy refreshing notes of cherry, orange zest, spice and aromatic bitters. Our kit includes a culinary torch for burning wood chips. The torch has four burners which is much more efficient for smoking cocktails vs. other single burner torches. It uses less butane, lights with a simple thumb trigger, and pushes the smoke down into the cocktail glass as it burns. The sleek design looks great and stores easily in the box. The smoke lid dimensions are 4.5" diameter (wide) x 2.25" height, with top included. It was designed to fit the various sizes of cocktail glasses, including rocks, coupe, and Glencairn. The tapered design fits snug inside larger whiskey glasses such as coupe and rocks. It sits on top of smaller glasses. The Smoke Lid includes a vent hole which allows the air to vent out while smoke is pushed down into the glass. When the smoke starts to come out of the vent hole, your drink is sufficiently smoked. Wood matters when it comes to cocktail smokers. The smoke lid is made from 100% oak, just like the barrels whiskey is aged in. As the wood chips burn, part of the cocktail smoker may catch some heat and burn as well. This is fine as long as it's a wood made for whiskey. Cheaper woods are not and can create a foul smell and odor when burned. Each Smoke Lid is also cut whole from a piece of oak wood, to avoid any glue or wood pattern mismatch.
