The built-in silicone honeycomb core dries quickly, and won't sour or produce bacteria. The outer chain quickly scrubs off baked-on, caked-on foods without harming the seasoned surface, that coveted buildup that accrues over time to create a naturally non-stick surface. It's heat-safe (to 450-degrees Fahrenheit) for cleaning hot pans, and won't ever melt or rust. Simply scrub the cooking surface under hot running water. Made from 18/8 stainless steel and heat-safe silicone, it's dishwasher safe for easy cleanup. Not intended for pans made from materials other than cast iron.
